The Betzy Studs are a part of The Hydra Collection. Each piece in the collection is named after a person who made a difference - this is to honour people who has used their voice to speak up against different forms of injustice. The Betzy Studs are named after the Norwegian feminist and women's right activist Betzy Kjelsberg. She is one of the reasons working conditions was improved in Norway in the early 20th century, with a ban on child labour, the introduction of 8-hours days and paid maternity leave.
The studs are 1,8 cm long and weighs 2,4 grams.
